okay i had this idea just then
what if you made a social media platform that is one big chronological timeline, and the main idea would be to apply whitelists and blacklists to token words, tags, categories in posts as a first class citizen
ie. you do not follow accounts, you apply filters
i dunno if this is a good idea or not, but it is a very interesting one
@opfez i guess i take it back, my comrade showed me the document scanner function on their ipad and it was really intuitive

i also did this and i think it is pretty cool
I can see my timeline is just gonna be (mac|i)os 26 disasters, or Sneakers, all day.
My favorite Redfords are All the President's Men, or Three Days of the Condor. He had a real talent for looking confused as people tried to kill him!
In april I exchanged my #THAT #AnalogComputer for a Leybold-Heraeus teaching analog computer from the 1980s. Then I found out anabrid had sold-out THAT. I spoke to Bernd Ulmann (from anabrid) and he did not know if there would be another batch of THAT computers. This sunday he anounced a new batch, I ordered a THAT and a few moments ago it arrived!
I've never used one, so can someone tell me how the Sinclair
ZX81 keyboard works?
Because I'm seeing like 5 options per key, and only one shift key.
Like the "S" key: It's Save, ARCCOS,. "S", LPRINT, and that graphical symbol. How do you select between those?

celebrity death
Robert Redford is dead. My first thought was about the celebration of the movie #Hackers yesterday. I know, I know -- Redford isn't in that.
No, Redford was in the vastly superior hacking movie Sneakers, which is by far my favorite movie depicting #socialEngineering. If you haven't seen it, I wrote a post a few years ago about a great moment here:
René Bauer from @chludens and colleagues wrote a #BASIC #game which should run on all common #homecomputer platforms:
https://research.swissdigitization.ch/?p=1260
I will try and test/extend it for more systems and find out a routine that auto-detects on which platform it runs.
