Deluxe Paint was cool, but NEOchrome was my go to art creation tool in the 16 bit era.

i might just resurrect "bagquest" for the commodore 64!

it's a 1 dimensional RPG where everything is in stacked tiers of bags

it's fairly trivial to draw what the game looks like

i might even do it in 2D, using the CHASE.BAS drawing subroutines from kilobaud 1977 issue no. 2.

Car's packed with clothes, food, and firewood, time for one last smoke before we take off. Talk to y'all next week ✨

time to do some sort of weird deep dive into the internet archive for inspiration on a commodore 64 RPG written in BASIC

okay youtube is virtually useless for learning anything beyond the basics of microcomputer BASIC

i wanna look up some good listings for action RPGs written in BASIC,

mainly so i can write my own for a microcomputer...

Remember the Polish train hackers? The guys who identified why trains being serviced by an independent, licensed train servicing center, "randomly" started failing? And identified the root cause, namely geofencing and/or time-related triggers?

The face charges by the original train manufacturer, who claims the violated copyright and other laws. A fascinating story of contradictory arguments. Enjoy!

@requiem i would do both

@requiem i know this sounds trite but i'd run a commodore 64 emulator on it

If you had access to the world’s fastest computer, what would you do with it?
