Bring back the BASIC screen editor!

Screenshot of the shell for the Mu computer, a computing stack built up from machine code while tracking capabilities and side-effects at every level. The top-left 2/3rds of the screen contains function definitions in a Lisp with indentation. The right 1/3rd contains a REPL which includes a little cartoon screen and keyboard. You can type things into the keyboard input, and primitives to read keys will pick up from it. Primitives to print to screen will print to the cartoon screen. Commands at the REPL show a zoomable trace in blue. You can move the cursor around within the trace and drill down to see details of the computation. The bottom 1/3rd shows a cheatsheet of the available primitives while programming, and keyboard shortcuts for the shell. Screenshot of the Teliva UI for editing the source code of an application. It's all text mode. The overview "big picture" shows a list of data structures, comments and functions. Functions are arranged by call stack depth, with main at the top, functions called by main one level below, functions called by _them_ still further down, etc. The bottom row shows available keyboard shortcuts for programming in Teliva.
