I'm consolidating my collection. So far, my Music folder has ~10,000 files and ~1162 sub-folders, so far, but I'm working through a stack of like 50 CD-Rs and DVD-Rs full of MP3s to add. Most of the DVD-Rs appear to be unreadable, at least on the drive in my desktop system. I barely remember burning this many discs. I'm encountering a deluge of amazing music I haven't heard in years. It's fucking wild. Please listen to Jeff Hanson, self-titled album is amazing.

For anyone interested in the port of I'm using for on the Plus graphing calculator, I've uploaded the patched Lua sources and prebuilt binaries for TI-89 and TI-92+ to https://gitlab.cs.washington.edu/fidelp/lua92
Please let me know if you try it out!

TI-92+ emulator running the Lua program:

which is the Lua equivalent of the famous "10 PRINT CHR..." C64 maze generator oneliner.

Out of curiosity, for all the or people here...
Is there a single place where one can find (most of the) news on new games/homebrew for the platform?

It seems info regarding new releases is quite scattered: some things one finds on reddit threads, some one finds on kickstarter, some are the usual "top something new releases" on youtube...

It's dispersive.

i find it crazy how developers of old games like elite were able to pack hundreds of planets into only a small number of kilobytes on very underpowered hardware, meanwhile today even many of the simplest games overuse javascript and html 5 way too much and end up being hundreds of megabytes too large for no good reason

There is currently a scanning electron microscope on eBay UK for the incredible bargain price of £470. I do not have space for this.
