I think that all personal computers should come with a programming environment installed on them by default, and a user manual explaining how to use it. But I think that environment should probably look more like Jupyter Notebook than HyperCard or BASIC.

I'm writing a sci-fi story and I'm trying to understand a particular part of the intersection between FTL, causality and relativity. I learned (some) astrophysics at university but I assume I'm misapplying some aspects of the fundamentals leading to me being unable to reason why my explanation is wrong, but it's always hard to find out on one's own which part I misunderstand.
Do I have a physicist in my mutuals or extended fedi orbit who would be willing to help me with this via E-Mail? 💜

You're going to love the strict consistency in the user interface of my new word processing software. If you select text with the mouse and then save the document, only the selected text gets saved and replaces the previous version of your novel. No more wondering about this annoying inconsistency. 👍
I'm trying to get the Acorn Archimedes core for the Mister working.
I'm able to boot it with the Ridcos 3 rom, and the desktop starts. However, I have so far failed to add a hard disc image to it. I created an empty file, and used 'configure idefsdiscs 1' as instructed in the readme for the core. I've had varying degrees of success with this (seeminly depending on the size of the image), but even when a disc is detected, it tells me it's not formatted.
I apparently need a tool called HDform, which I downloaded a floppy image and ran. However, it gives me an error saying it doesn't recognise the disc.
One tried all sorts of variations, and nothing works. Is there anyone with Archimedes experience that can provide some tips?
