I will still use my pi computers but honestly I'm getting disillusioned with rpi as a company. They have lost the charm of the good old days when mesa's vc4 was new, raspbian was the official name of the os, and Minecraft pi came with raspbian

Had an idea for the "Oats For My Goats" game.
The objective of the game is to get to the end portal.
The user is presented with a randomly generated 2D playfield in the terminal.
Players collect oats in that playfield to allow a jump to another playfield.
Playfields will randomly generate portals every few playfields.
That's all I have right now 🤣😅

In planning out an exploration for compiling Hare to ATMEGA AVR, running the compiler on my hypothetical string-centric CPU...
I'm looking at QBE to see what a minimal optimizing compiler consists of, but upon that prior art my hypothetical has me considering:
a) Which optimizations are appropriate to the target architecture? (ATMEGA's, an 8bit RISC)
b) What might be involved in implementing them on the weird host architecture? (my own design)
All the resistors are accounted for.
Will have to check the rest of the stock on hand to see if there is a suitable Schottky diode.
